Coming Up with Titles is the Hardest Part of Blogging

Remember when I used to be funny on my blog? You know, when I spent all my time writing about Twilight, nannying, and being rejected in my search for a job (and good coffee)?

Yeah, that was great.

Sorry my blog's been kind of downer lately. It's not cold anymore and I think that will vastly improve my ability to be snarky. However, it is summer and that means I'm really busy at work so we'll see.

To perk this place up a little, here's a small child repeating the daily affirmation I wrote up for myself a few years ago. It seems to really be catching on.

1. I love that little girl - she is my hero.
2. Isabelle was 8 months old before I realized that I was drinking FOUR shots of espresso in those vente iced americanos. Man, living in ignorance is bliss. I miss those days of enjoying carafe sized coffees and feeling my skin tingle from the caffeine fix. Now I make my small, (but awesome - you'd be proud) iced coffees at home with my $20 bialetti moka. Come over and I'll make you a cup. :)
3.How is it that I look back on those early days with baby Isabelle and recall being in a state of constant stress yet you make it seem so dreamy and laid back?? (Maybe my daily dose of caffeine had something to do with my anxiety levels?) You were an awesome help and I look back on those days that you were in NYC with us as a distinct and very fond "chapter" in my life.
